Alienware's new gaming PC is pretty damn cool

Jeez.....that is one impressive case!

Still wont be worth the money though, despite the quality. The Alienware badge seems to inflate the price no end......

Impressive ideas.

I suppose if i were super rich and had money to waste i would consider a new top end alienware every year :p

Gaming pc's need 2 hard drives max

I'd take a stylish case over a functional one any day of the week

Looks far nicer than the utterly terrible cases Alienware usually use. I'd still rather have a top-end Dell XPS though, they look awesome.

I couldn't care less what my case looks like as long as it's got decent hardware inside. It's just a shiny box to make you feel a bit better about spending a lot of money.

can i say gimmick lol!!
overpriced and nothing compared to some of the custom builds ive seen.

Cheapest is £1900.

Initial spec... if you want a i7 975 you have to add £1000 to the price.

I'd like my case to be both stylish and functional. My PC is used for gaming and currently has 4 hard drives so that disproves that too bledd :p

I'd never buy from Alienware, because the prices always seem ridiculous.

The motorized vents are a gimick, the layout of the harddrives is impressive but thats about it. Its alienware guys, nothings changed.

Speaking in regards to the case itself, I like it. The hard drive bays on the side of the case are great, even that little light at the back so you can plug in stuff is nice. The power supply removal is excellent I loved that :) Not too sure on the motorised thing at the top just seems like something else that could go wrong.

Neah the more the faster it will be in RAID0 or even RAID1. More spindles increases the speed. The specs seems rubbish though. For a decent PC I would have expected minimum to use SSD.

Nothing but a load of lights and useless features. You don't need motorised vents. I looks gash and almost all the features are pointless.

wow 6hdds you mean just like the corsair 800d.
