I was going to buy an Alienware a year ago, until i came across OCuk.

I'd rather rig up a basic LCD and cut fan holes for that money.

screw basic for that money you can have a fully functional (as in it will even display the desktop)touch screen lcd that slides out of a Custom size drive bay (yes these things do exist, i don't know why)

Go buy all that aluminium and get it fabricated yourself then come back and say that, plus the design, plus they last a hell of a long time rather than some cases.

looks at second-hand thermaltake xaser 3 from the early 2000's...

With a nearly half inch think front door made from three 5+mm thick plates of solid aluminium, it;s pretty much inistructable from being kicked/bashed/anti tank fire.

if the zombie apocalypse ever happens, off with the quick release hinges and i've got a combined shield+ skull cracker
