All these games platforms

That said it's still "cool" to hate the other clients so it doesn't surprise me when threads like this pop up.

It isn't cool to hate other clients it is just a pain in the arse to deal with other clients. It is like websites. I buy pretty much everything I buy online on one very popular website which I am sure you know the name of simply because I don't want to have to make accounts on loads of different websites even if I can get a better deal somewhere else. It is the same reason I always try and pay with PayPal if I can. I don't want loads of different websites knowing my credit card details.

i do have all the clients, but steam is by far the best.

its also nice to have all my games in 1 place, looking through the list to find a game i want to play rather than opening up 7 clients

the key for me is the steam workshop. steam workshop makes a world of difference. really nice integration never worry about mod updates every again.

Talking of Steam...

If anyone cannot log in (like me for the last hour..) either unplug your pad and start Steam.

Or delete the "beta" file in the packages folder (this worked for me) and start Steam.

I generally only buy if it is on steam or battlenet. I just like having my library consolidated and steam does it best.

I wont lose any sleep over missing out on ubisoft games as they tend to be terrible on pc anyway. EA are just a terrible company that regurgitates the same tired old titles over and over with minor facelifts (could basically just be a dlc for the last iteration) and yet people lap it up. So I tend to avoid their games and Origin with it.

I had that this morning.

I reinstalled steam (without uninstalling) and all worked, no loss of settings WHICH WAS NICE :D
