All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

So why the sarcastic 'haha'?

Because your opinion is exactly the one the mobile companies want you to have.

They are increasing profits by selling people services that they aren't equipped to provide, and yet it's the customer's fault for wanting to use what they paid for?

How would you feel if you rented a car, but actually could only use it for a few minutes because it was shared between everyone else on the same day - you'd blame the rental company, not the other people renting.

especially as they even stated 1000gb was fair use.

I think people tethering 30gb + from a sim provider is stupid anyway.

But whatever it's too late now it's been ruined by selfish people

no, the only stupid thing is Three offering something they are unwilling to actually provide. and people who think like you.
people paid for a service and used what they paid for.

its a mobile network, not a replacement for your home internet.

Whos replacing their home network with it.
It's not hard to understand they offered an unlimited service, and even stated using 1000GB a months was fair, and some people think 30gb is taking the pee, which is extremely easy to achieve on YOUTUBE/Netflix.

It's human nature to be greedy & that's what has happened. Peoples greed has ruined for all.

Not with your silly 30gb thing though plucked out of thin air,

And using large amounts is in no way abusing it. When that is what is advertised.

The really stupid thing is, it's still unlimited on phone, where YOUTUBE/Netflix use just as much data, and if your on android there's ways to disguise tethering.
Would have been better of making tariffs like the 12gb one. Where you can use the data however you like. Just more options for those who want to use more,

It's quite obvious that if you tell users 1000GB is fair then you can't complain when some users use that much as it's exactly what you told them they could do. Three made a mistake, they've honored the contracts and now they've ended they're withdrawing the plan. It's nothing to do with how it was used, three made it quite clear what was on offer and as such people accepted the offer and made use of the service.

Been on the one plan 5 years this month, enjoyed it as a lot of minutes probably 1500-2000 a month and use 5-6gb of data. Not used tethering apart from in emergencies so I would be happy if they limited my tethering to a gb or two and kept me on the same plan for £18.

Not really sure what to do now as I'm happy with three. Might just go for the 8gb data & unlimited minutes for £24 a month.

Has anyone used ID mobile yet? They use three and their deals seem good? 2000 mins and 6gb data for £15 a month or 2000 mins and 10gb data for £20 a month.

Does this affect the £12.90/month package with limited minutes and unlimited data?

Finally moved off of three. Was in the 15ppm sim only.
But since they put this up to 20 I was always going to change

Going to put my life mobile sim in

10ppm uses EE, owned by EE,
More minutes and texts than I can use and 3gb data (I usually use 2gb)

I don't need 4g I don't see the benefit over 3g. Plus causes my phone to flick between 4 and 3.

My home internet is 2Mb so in my case it was a replacement as I was getting 24Mb on three.

Disappointed it has ended but working my way through my EE 100GB/month Sims, getting 40Mb with them. :D

Hope not, I've been on this one for years and I use loads of data while travelling. I hardly make any calls or texts though. It may be a swap to Giffgaff for me if they up it to £30

But its people like you that put a stop to it in the first place, on a side note mines still live but I rarely tether but do use quite a bit of data

But Three said I could use 1000GB/month and I wasn't even getting close to that.

but using 1000gb a month on your phone is different to using 1000gb on your pc, maybe its partly their fault for not making it clear but at the end of the day its the heavy tethering users that have ended the one plan
