All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

Just coming up to the end of my 2 year contract with 3.

Always forget what the usual procedure is. Cancel a month before end date and can you ask to be switched so a sim only plan? Or simply a rolling one month until my next phone?
 
When my last contract ended with them I was forced to go onto a new contract (given a choice of SIM only or a new phone).

Rolling monthly contract wasn't an option.
 
Just had my letter so I'm going to get my PAC and go with Virgin on their £12 for 6Gb rolling monthly contract.

Had a look at some of the other network providers and they are having a laugh just for 1Gb!

Edit: Ok, called Three and have gone for the 12Gb including hotspot for £15 which suited my needs better. Sorry Virgin!
