I suggest looking on HUKD for the most up-to-date best deals.
It really comes down to, do you need to use your phone abroad? If yes, stick with Three, if not look at EE.
Hi guys,
Just wanted to let you know the £18 a month AYCE data + 30GB tethering + 200 minutes is on the Three store and working now for existing customers. You can also get £50 cash back with quidco.
How would I go about transferring my number over? Would I just ask for my PAC code and would they accept it?
Anybody trying to get the existing customer offer from EE without being a current line holder has no chance lol. 3 of us here tried it and all got the same response a couple of days later.
I've went for it anyway at £19.99 - seems a fair deal.
Assuming you're currently on Three, the PAC wouldn't be relevant as that's for porting networks. I was told that my current sim will swap back to PAYG, and then when the new sim is set up, i can ask for that number to be transferred.

Where do I find this? I can't seem to see it on their website
Got my letter today with details of the 100% price hike to £30. Funny how they think that I should stay on the AYCE data plan when I use less than 1GB a month
Girlfriend ordered online and they have just rang her. They said switching the number isn't possible. Was an Indian bloke on the phone that got arsey with her. Goodbye Three.
Hmm i was told that it was possible. So one of their staff is wrong.
Has your GF cancelled her existing account? From what i've read the account needs to be active still, so with mine swapping to PAYG after the contract has finished should meet that criteria.
If it doesn't work i suppose i could port the number over to another network, and then port it back to Three. Not sure if there's any waiting periods though, so that might be a long-winded approach.
But in all fairness, it's probably a good thing to recycle numbers every so often, as my number is now plagued by cold-callers.
I'm on the £12.90 unlimited 200 plan, got my letter the other day! They offered me the Unlimited Data/Text 200 minutes plan (basically what I'm on already) for £20/month... I'm okay with that! as it's still the 1 month rolling plan!! If summut better come up I can leave easily!!
