All time favourite PS2 games?

Ratchet and Clank 1 and 3 were good. I could never get into the 2nd one. Got the platinum trophy for the 1st HD remaster.

I loved Jak 2. More mature than Ratchet. Not really any gadgets though.

I'll definitely check out Tourist Trophy.

Playing Timesplitters 2 last night I realised how sharp the graphics were. Is the 3rd game good?

The Splinter Cell HD remasters are terrible. Low fps ruins them.

Am I the only one who thinks Ico is overrated?

I largely skipped over the PS2, opting for Xbox instead. I remember buying a Slim when it first came out along with San Andreas but I barely played it. I did finish God of War 1 and 2, both of which were excellent, but I actually played them on the original, backwards compatible PS3.

Never too late to go back. Especially now the prices of PS2 games are dirt cheap.

I forgot to mention Okami. What a brilliant game! I love the art style.
Any fans of it here?
 
The games i probably put the most time in are

GTA3
GT3
MGS 3
THPS 3
GoW 2
For online i loved Hardware online arena and the SOCOM games

Edit, god how could i forget guitar hero???

Ico proved that games needn't be over complicated.
 
Never really got into the PS2 for some reason. I got one not long after release but it never captivated me as much as the original Playstation. I think I started to branch out into PC gaming so the PS2 had little use.

However, I do remember Ico and MGS Sons of Liberty which were awesome...and that's about it lol, I'm scratching my head trying to think of other stand out games for me at the time but I cant.

I didn't get involved enough in the PS2 generation.

I remember playing the first Silent Hill around my friends house on the original Playstation, it also happened to be an evening where it was thunder and lightening outside, talk about scare the **** out of me! :p
