Two hours worth of uprighting....
 
Though it is going slow its amazing how they can do something like this.

Still a lot of work to be done after its upright, hopefully once its all done there will be a big documentary or something of how they did it etc etc
 
It won't be physically moving anywhere until next year. Raising it is one thing, moving it is a whole other ball game.

They say that this is the largest operation of it's kind, but wasn't the Mazda boat bigger? Maybe largest passenger righting?

Estimated at Thursday morning for full upright now...eek!

Just read about that, man.. what a waste of motors. Potentially nothing wrong with them at all, too.
 
Surely they will referb/remove parts that can be, it can not be a case of "ALL SCRAP"

I think the salvage company will remove anything that isn't damaged and has value for profit, but the boat owners certainly won't like already said, it just isn't financially worth it.

wasn't 65% of the ship submerged ? including the whole lower decks engine rooms etc etc so anything of value being any is kinda slim anyway !
