I told my girlfriend to stop scraping across the seats, when she goes to sit in the car? It's not hard to just go in 1 leg after another to stop your belt/buttons/zips scraping across the leather bolster of the seat. It as always got on my nerve's and makes me just want to drop kick her out of passenger window!

We ended up having a argument over it all earlier how she is completely oblivious when it comes to respecting other people's stuff.

"o shut up, its only a car"

WOMEN! pffft.....

Rant over seen as i haven't got anyone else to rant to tonight!

No, you are not a grumpy old whinger. Her attitude sucks.

People make mistakes - I've got a scrape on my passenger seat from my GF's bag or something - but the whole 'it doesnt matter, its only a car' attitude deserves rage.

I push my gf's back when she gets in my car so she doesn't rub the bolster :o

I've got a mate whose gf puts her feet up on the dash, with shoes!
He goes ape at her though, so I think she's slowly learning..

"Its only a car"

I dont understand this logic, its probably the most expensive item people own

Im sure your girlfriend wouldnt want you damaging any of her stuff, no matter how inexpensive it is. Especially an item which will most likely have to be sold on again.

My ex managed to get heel marks on my CTRs sills :(

So, when she fell asleep on the home from Whitby once I decided to throw the car about on the country lanes to get my own back. Her head was banging on the window and she was sliding back and forth but she never woke up! Fail!

Other half always puts her feet up on the dash which follows with utter rage with her only to reply, "car needs to be cleaned anyway so it makes no difference"

It's the same with people that have no concept of how to get in and of cars in car parks, open door bash, get out and slam your door, with their arse.

Christ that makes me so mad, I always try to park out of the way of everyone else and have a longer walk to the shop for my trouble only to find some random plonker parks right next to me! drives me nuts.
Granted I only have a crappy Corsa, but its my crappy Corsa which happens to still have tidy paint and no real scratches and I take pride in it!

That would **** me off, especially with leather. I offered to give my mum a lift the other day and she got in eating a sandwich. She was horrified when I told her to get the hell out of my car and eat it outside. Stupid cow.

My missus however, she treats my stuff with respect because she loves cars. I don't mind her putting her feet on the dash (not that she does really), just as long as she takes her shoes off.

If my mates start doing **** in my car I either hit them, slap them, or pull over and tell them to get out. At which point they grovel and say they are really sorry and never do it again.

When I got that brand new swift, I'd had it a couple weeks and noticed a 4 inch long scratch on the door card. Gf didn't own upto it for over a week. She had caught it with her watch (cheap plastics ggrr)

I raged a little tbh lol.
