The 2005FPW has gone up by about £24 as well - it used to be £387-something, now it's £411 (inc VAT).

Slightly different to the £200 + the 24" has gone up today!!!!

OP yur right - I have a g/h thread going regarding insurance and I had already done a list before they posted the hike, so its a huge leap

same thing here, 289.95 +vat ordered on wednesday still hasnt come, something about (Your order is awaiting security checks) so i guess its still in their warehouse, today its 274.99 +vat. gonna call them and ask for a refund or to charge me the 274.99.

a lot of things have went up. I payed £140 for my mp3 player, they want £155 for it now. Also my GFX card, cost me £220 and a few weeks later it was £240.

Im guessing it just as the suppliers change their prices, OcUK needs to alter theirs to adapt, but an extra £200 is a fair wedge  Last i looked the 2405 was about £660, but i think that was on special.

The point is its still at there warehouse, so if i phone they should refund the difference. ive been waiting 3 days for it and it should be next day i might not get it till tuesday, so ill call them to ask for the cheaper price, if they deny then a full refund of the product and delivery charges and re order it.

It should sell at the price that it was when you bought it mate. If it was £700 when you put your payment details in then thats what it should sell for, if not then just send it back to them under the distance selling act.

Providing your payment details are passed on the security checks this time id be surprised if they charge you more. The security checks presumably will be trying to pass the £700 you went to pay, and i dont think OcUK will have access to just change the payment amount without your authorisation.

Youll just have to wait and see.

Wow! thats quite a big price price increase.

Makes me even happier i got mine when it was on "This Week Only" :)

Not sure i'd pay the price it's at now. Although it is a gorgeous monitor!!

Chadd

Glad I only paid £550 +vat on a special offer deal. LOL.

Was amazed (+ wallet very glad) that OCUK could sell it for so much less than Dell TBH.

Yeah I noticed this last night. Was sorting out my options before pulling the trigger on a 2405. A £200+ rise is over half towards an x1900 so I won't bother now.

Will see what the new range brings or maybe even save towards the 30" now.

Hohum :(

Hi there

Unfortunately DELL have decided to stop selling their monitors. You can now only buy a DELL monitor from their actual website as they refuse to sell to companies at the moment due to them basically not selling any on their own site.

OcUK still has large stocks but from now on we will be the same price as DELL with the advantage been you get 4yr warranty and next day delivery from us.

An end has come to cheap DELL monitors I am afraid, we will discuss with DELL further to see if anything can be sorted but for the moment if you want a DELL monitor you pay full price unless you can find anywhere else that still has stock who have not yet increased pricing.

Noooooooo.... I was wating for ocuk to get the 2007fpw in nice and cheap(ish) too! :( :(

Edit: does that mean that Dell is going to become a competitor that we can't talk about again?! Because loads and loads of people on the forums have one...

very bad news indeed Gibbo :( Let's hope Dell agree to let OcUK supply them again, but i can imagine they weren't getting much business with the prices OcUK are listing to compete with their site :)
