It is their forum afterall and they don't want "you can buy xxx monitor £50 cheaper elsewhere" threads on here since it would cost them business. And once they stop selling Dells, Dell will become a direct competitor again. OcUK won't want you to buy a Dell at that point since it means you won't have bought from OcUK. Also for the same reason they wouldn't want threads comparing Dell monitors to the similar products which OcUK stock.

Teaching your granny to suck eggs telling me that mate. I'm not a big poster like i was before Oct 2002 when we all had to re-register, and like most people on here have read and do follow the rules of the forum :rolleyes:
 
Good i slipped and pressed checkout when i did, was seriously considering too wait another month too see what news there was on the 2407. This is pretty dissapointing, i know for sure they have just lost 2 sales at my place of work as a few people i know were about too purchase them. Surely in the long run Dell will lose out.
 
Maybe they wanted to pack it in for the 2407 coming? then only Dell will have that screen and if you want one youll have to buy direct from them. The 2405 is expensive, but when the 2407 is out people will either have to buy it or leave it, and humans being humans im sure some will pay it.
 
I wish things would get sorted out as the prices go down and then up and then down :rolleyes: , still got to decide if I want one or see what else is available.
