Amanda Knox and her Ex found guilty of the Murder of Medredith Kercher

Meanwhile I see Guede's lawyer has said he'll seek a retrial. I'm all for it if it means increasing his sentence and the truth coming out but I'm a bit worried that the prosecutors have undermined their credibility enough for him to get a further sentence reduction on a technicality.

Hmmm

More speculation...

It's nigh on impossible to "fry" a hard drive just copying data from it and yet they don't seem to elaborate on how they had managed it. Even if it was encrypted, they would have mentioned it, perhaps gone on to give it to a specialist.

It sounds like destruction of evidence.

I am beggining to believe that the police were almost engineering this crime to frame amanda and her ex.

check this site out about the knife testing and the bra strap. If true then wow the italian police/courts are truly disgusting. Absolutly sweet FA eveidence!

Seriously - the prosecution case was never anything other than extremely flimsy. I was astonished at the convictions in the first place. The incriminating evidence against anyone but Guede was utterly feeble even before it was debunked.

I read a similar article in the Guardian today, to sum it up.

The DNA on the bra was dust...which considering Solletico was in the apartment a lot, dust flies in the air, landed on clothing on the floor is not out of the realm of imagination. and yes, DUST, not blood, not sweat, not semen, not hair DNA, but DUST.

The knife one is interesting too, NO DNA found and when the police went to search his apartment, they took just 2 knifes out of the entire drawer? If you suspect the killer hid a knife, you would take EVERY SINGLE ONE? and do test on them all? Nooooo, they took 2 out of the entire kitchen and left the rest. (oh, and it didn't even fit the wound)

The more you read into it, the more it reads like the police just wanted to frame these two.

Exactly, it is just ridiculous. I can't help thinking they wanted a quick closure to the case and guede's conviction was not enough to satisfy the courts.

The knife thing is retarded. A WHOLE drawer of knifes, yet 2 taken, no DNA found on the blade, no blood on the blade, a miniscule amount of DNA was found after rigirous lab testing but is speculated to be contaminated considering the minute amount found.

You could have her DNA smeared all over the blade but if the DNA isnt from blood, then it kinda becomes a moot point. The police need to get out of the DNA = convicted mindset.

Don't even get me started on the bra clasp, discovered 47 days after? REALLY!?

All I want to see now, is a full confession from guede and a complete series of events from amanda, unless there is one already, please point me in thne right direction!

More to the point: the knife didn't fit the bloody knife print they found in the room. I think it was never anything more than a framing tool.

Also the hypothesis of multiple attackers was based on the bloody knife print and some of Meredith's wounds not matching that knife. Of course someone could speculate that maybe there was only one knife that hasn't been found but that wouldn't help implicate Knox and Sollecito would it?

Witness testimony and recollection is always massively flawed, especially when combined with a Police force that people are now finally getting round to seeing how corrupt they can be.

Corruption happens here as well, just much more intelligently and with little interest from the public, I have banged on about it in a few threads.

The death of Ian Tomlinson was massively covered up and Police corruption and lies are still on going to this day, including the hiring and use of Freddy Patel, a pathologist who would routinely give the incorrect answers that would allow the Police to get away with things, such as in Ian's case, murder. The crimes are as blatant as the ones committed in Italy to fame Amanda Knox but no one wants to believe it about their own country.

Hey I don't disagree, the prosecution screwed up rather a lot in this case tbh...

It reads much less of a screw up, as in failed to prosecute to guilty murderers...more than...failure to put two innocent people in jail.

A LOT of the evidence do not make sense. Disregard the forensic procedures, the harsh interrogations, and even the actual DNA evidence, yes, even the DNA evidence, or the complete lack of it.

What bugs me for some reason is the fact that why take 2 knifes out of the entire drawer when you are looking for a knife as a murder weapon.

Thanks for those links, I didn't realise how slapdash everything was!

It certainly sounds like they pinned all of their accusations on K and S, then found that there was overwhelming evidence against R but didn't want to backtrack on K and S.

Fudging evidence to save face, if it was going to happen anywhere it would be in Italy.

Absolutely. Guede is after all a black man and as a result must be a murderer.

Knox on the other hand is a sweet, innocent, white virgin and clearly incapable of lying . . . except when she falsely accused some random bar owner of the murder

Remind me . . . for how long had Sollecito "known" Knox? Was it six days or a week?

Erm, have you been drinking? How is any of that relevant?

Guede's bloody hand print was found on the wall of MK's bedroom.

Guede's semen, sweat was found all over MK's body and bedroom.

AK and RS's DNA was not found anywhere in the crime scene.

Oh, where did I mention about their skin colour?

Never.

Who is guilty of murder again? Oh yes that is right. Guede. Take your trolling posts elsewhere stockhausen. That literally added nothing to the topic.
