Amazing Temperature 66C at 4GHz !

Don't use 20x200 as it won't be stable for lower vcore at 1.19v at the bios. Best stable I found is x19 or x21 (don't use x20)

Yeah, I see what you mean now. I have 1.25v bios (1.232cpuz), this drops down to 1.216v under load set for 200x20 gives me temps of about 72c-73c with an ambient of 25c. I tried 191x21 but still needed 1.232v in bios.

I know, I guess I am lucky to have it stable! My cpu processor are lucky indeed :) That's is the lower volt I can get it stable so far for 4Ghz.

his chip was cherry picked by myself as his overclocked bundle failed initially - the chip he got is an excellent example capable of very low volts

I cant get mine to boot at all with x19 and lower vcore. I'll stick with 200x20 with a vcore of 1.25 (1.216 vdroop) then I can keep my memory running at 1600mhz 8,8,8,24,2T timings. Temps are low enough and will drop some more when it cools down a bit weatherwise.

What's the vid of your chip bulldog? The voltage reported by cpu-z at stock settings. Its hardly conclusive, but it tends to correlate with chips which overclock nicely and I'd like to compare with mine

Good for you rjkoneill, always pleased to see solid customer service

my batch number of my cpu i7920D0 is 3837B080 (believed this batch number is very good at lower vcore for higher overclock - thanks to OCUK for supply me the lucky batch number through i7 920 at 4Ghz bundle.

oooooo. I'm hoping to get my Overclocked bundle over the next few days :) Hopefully I get one of the super batch numbers :)

Anyone got a list of good batch numbers??

mine is set at 1.26v at vid setting

I'm just hoping I'm not one of the unlucky ppl who gets an unstable 4ghz bundle. I really want a stress free machine, one that I can just build and then leave to its own devices :)

I know what you mean, it hard to tell if ocuk bundle is stable or unstable - no ones know until you run it 24 hours but I am sure OCUK will give you a better bundle around cos you pay for it and expect to get a top mark for your ocuk bundle out of the box.

Here's hoping man. I already had some bad luck today with dpd only delivering box 2 of 2 of my order :( the missing box had my Antec 1200 in it. Unfortunately I only found out when I returned home from work. Hopefully I can get this resolved nice And easy by Ocuk tomorrow :) hopefully I can get it by Friday so I can build over the weekend. I'll probably be bugging u all then anyway.

Ps my bundle is on a separate order

List of good batch numbers is quite an undertaking, Google finds a few places taking a go at it. For what my non-overclocked values are worth

3913B213, bios vid 1.0625, cpuz vid 0.928, all at stock.
Preliminary underclock of two cores at 2ghz, 0.8V stable but I'm not overclocking it while still on the intel hsf

Vid doesn't correlate that perfectly with overclocking, but a low one tends to be a good sign. Not sure what the most likely ranges are. @Gaidin109, perhaps we have the same batch :)

3849*** are good batches on i7 920 and 3845*** are good W3520 Xeons (i7 920). there are others.

Nice CPU you have there bulldog, need 1.26 for 4.2Ghz on mine (which i thought was pretty good )

Nice, have you been able to take it higher Overclock? interested to know what it takes to do 4.5GHz.

I dont know what my batch number is, I dont have the box, it wasnt included in my bundle.
Is there any other way of finding out..?

It's also printed on the IHS of the CPU. I think its the last line of text.
