Amazon 1 Click Rant

In my experience super saver delivery is pretty much always the day after dispatch. I would never spend £40 on Prime.

What you mean is, they will allow you a choice of 4 different names to be printed on top of the one allowed address to be printed on the label? The generous buggers.:p

They will deliver to different addresses ..... Not 100% sure its allowed but works fine for me.

Yep. You share the membership with other "family" members' accounts, so they have full access to prime on their account and addresses.

I've not used it but I was going on this:

To manage sharing your Amazon Prime membership:
1. Go to Manage Prime Membership .

2. Click Invite a household member.

If you look carefully there is an option to change p&p - I got caught once and now once ordered go into order and change it to free p&p - need to do it before 30 min is up.

Being able to order on a Friday night and have it come Saturday and order on a Sunday and have it come Monday makes Prime very much worth it, as said before up to 4 people can use one Prime account, it's hardly a lot for a year £10 each.

Even better if they fail to deliver the next day you can complain and more often than not they extend your membership a month, I've had almost a free year out of them so far due to couriers letting them down.

They just say sorry nothing we can do once its left us to me :(

Weird.

As you can see I last paid in Feb but my renewal date is December.

Its all about Prime... I have split the cost with 2 family members and a guy at work, It is a god send :) Free Next day delivery and some items are offered slightly cheaper to prime members as well. Winner :)

I'm with you. I always choose the slowest/cheapest delivery option with everything. I've never got into being stressed that something hasn't turned up on the exact day that I think it will. And I've never been stressed about what time post turns up. I think that there are people that would be happy if they had something delivered at 08:30 but would moan their head off if it had turned up at 16:00 the day before.

I'm finding the same, and I'd love to be convinced that Prime is worth it.

I use Amazon a lot, I love it... But 2-3 day delivery is fine with me.

Prime is brilliant. I had three deliveries turn up on bank holiday Monday, couldn't believe it!

It's not much at all if you are able to split the cost with family/housemates and then share with household accounts.

Yes Super Saver Delivery is free and it does typically come the day after dispatch, however its the the time they take processing it that is a lot longer. With Prime they expedite that part.

If you end up paying for priority deliveries at Xmas or such, then it doesn't take long before you have spent what you would on Prime, so may as well have all your deliveries come fast.
