I do love Prime, although its annoying having to sign for stuff since there isn't anyone at home when I'm out. And my nearest mail depot is in the city centre for some reason, so its a decent walk in to pick stuff up.

That's the same problem for me, everyone in the house works as does everyone else in the building and the DPD depot is 7 miles away.

I have started using the free Amazon Locker service for everything I can now.

Yea I'm pretty sure. I'd have subscribed to it if it gave the option, but since they are all like 'Special Delivery' or what have you, you have to sign for it.

I pay for it each year, get free next day delivery on the vast majority of items I buy and my family get the same for no cost, despite living at different addresses.

Seems silly to pay for postage on each individual item, frankly.

obviously the people who don't fork out for prime aren't paying for postage on single items either. they use free super saver delivery and are happy to wait a few days.

Forgot to mention - I think somewhere in Amazon you can set a designated 'safe place' for your package (e.g. neighbour/behind fence/under door step/in orbit) for your package if you're not in when it's delivered.

i can't be the only one who has had this. i've never paid for it and have just clicked the promos on the site. i've found email confirmation for 2 of my trials but i know i've definitely had 3 altogether.

Can't justify prime as i don't buy that much from amazon frequently.
