Black Sails - A Pirate drama set in the Bahamas and the Americas during colonial times in the early 1700s. I can't recommend this one enough, well written, fantastic acting, as with shows like Game Of Thrones pretty much all characters have a dark side. Probably has one of the best first scenes of any TV show, it is unfortunate that as it seems to be an online only show it probably hasn't got the recognition it deserves:

Love the show along with the era and the setting! It is a shame it's getting next to no recognition due to its online roots.

Helps that I'm still a student, so I think the whole year with Prime was only £39 if my memory serves me right so no brainer with the other benefits.
 
Entire series of this just got added...the pilot was really strong so looking forward to the rest of it.

It's an alternate history that shows Japan/Germany winning the second world war and dividing america to east and west.

for me the most overrated tv series ever. i've been forced to watch 1st season by partner and gosh if i have to watch 2nd one i'll commit suicide. guy who wrote dialogs should to be ban for life from tv
 
Waiting for more Sneaky Pete. Liked the premise but not sure it can sustain a full series.

Like the sound of the Man in the High Castle though.

AFAIK only the second episode became available today? Pilot has been out for months and the rest of the series is out November 20th
 
Anyone else find the interface and layout terrible? For me, I think they could improve it.

Yup it's terrible (them putting different seasons of the same show as different entries in the menus in particular) but then that seems to be order of the day for streaming sites, terrible interfaces designed around telling you what you want rather than letting you browse properly.
 
Good idea and good list. Pity I can't drag my girlfriend away from her crap ITV dramas like Lewis etc :(

Has anyone watched Extant or The Americans? Any good?
 
Watched the two available episodes of The Man In The High Castle - very interesting! Love the setting and totally different take on history - will certainly be tuning in on the 20th November when the rest become available!
 
I watched the first season of The 100 but Season two is only available to buy :( I also started re-watching all seasons of The Walking Dead again to catch up. Also need to watch Under The Dome. Been a while since I watched season one.
 
Watched all of Hand of God. Very random series and i cant help feel that the main guy has been typecast as Hellboy which is a bit distracting. I also struggle to take the preacher guy seriously after him been in New Girl.
 
How long does it generally take for the other seasons to hit Prime? Still waiting on The 100 season two and just noticed The Walking Dead only goes up to season five :(.
