well there we go, no more annoying warnings every time i open the app yay!
Youtube now gone from Amazon's Fire devices. I just checked mine and it has indeed gone.

Yeah, seems to have gone earlier, i recall the popup saying it was the 8th that it was going.
It just redirects you through firefox now which gives you exactly the same ui/functionality as the app
Thing is, it was never 'there' in that regard, it was just a web bookmark to the TV version of YouTube (as it was even described). The only difference now is that it opens www.youtube.com/tv in a third party browser (Firefox or Silk) rather than in it's own web browser in the old 'app'.
