AMD 13.2 Beta Driver

If you can tommy that would be awesome as I doubt I'll get back to my pc before Friday :)

Afterburner and trixx are the main ones I need to test.

Thanks Matt, will update these once I get some spare time, so busy at the minute.

And yes, new thread was a good idea.

:)

Installed these a couple of hours ago.
No more weird flashing squares on witcher 2.
Skyrim smooth as silk outside still a jitter now and then inside though but much improved.
And finally now my hdmi sound is working as it should which is the 1st time since 12.3

oh hdmi sound too? awesome. it was just the giant black triangles and funky textures every now and then in like... every game for me. they've gone! i didn't know what was wrong, i kept updating bios, chipset drivers, reinstalling things, the OS, replaced graphics card twice, and in the end kept this one because it was the "least bad"... i've seen a bunch of youtube videos with the same stuff too and i thought they'd just stay like that in EVERY game. can't believe amd fixed it just like "that" and added an innocuous little line about it in patch notes. thought i'd have to live with it lol. well if hdmi sound works again, time to buy an AVR... o.o

does anyone know if these work for 7970m graphics cards?

I stupidly bought a laptop with a 7970m in it, found I couldn't actually play any games and now have AMD drivers to deal with in trying to get stuff to work

right well don't care at the moment for what fps I'm getting as so far these drivers have fixed a lot of issues.. 13,2 + Radeon pro = win for me.

7970m and skyrim is now very smooth , haven't tried far cry 3 but one game I always try is LA Noire as this game has never run smooth... finally its running very nice, stuttering much reduced ....

Finally something is working, hopefully these are signs of better tines for AMD owners.

worked for me, enduro is a big pain for 7970m owners, I turned this off with my laptop but the drivers worked for my alienware m17x. good drivers so far lots of games work fine, it's a. good mobile gpu .

Arma/DayZ doesn't like these drivers on my 7970, get graphical artifacts and game crashes, rolled back to 12.11beta11 and all is well.

Also, can someone running these check gpu-z, throws up a open cl error on opening.

+1 for Skyrim being much smoother, i still think Radeon Pro makes it even smoother though.

Gonna test more games, i hope the random glitches are gone.

Overall its looking good and some progression :)

Just finished a session in Skyrim and it's now smooth as silk with no stuttering when turning or moving sideways and I've not seen any texture artifacts either - both of which were an annoyance with the previous drivers. :)

Borderlands is A LOT smoother with the 13.2 beta. I am impressed.

Don't take this the wrong way and I am not pointing fingers at the people I have quoted (far from infact) but I do wish people would say about these things.

It would help tremendously when suggesting a GPU for someone that the games quoted (very often Skyrim and BL2 is the games perspective buyers are interested in) are not as smooth as should be.

I say this because quite often in the past, I have recommended a 7950/7850 for Skyrim on the assumption that it plays just as well on both manafacturers and then when a new driver is released, you find out that it didn't but does now.

Sorry again to quote you guys and rant over.

I dont understand you greg?

I know u havent quoted me but ive pointed out skyrim is not smooth with amd since i had a 7850 :\

Another + for these drivers is im no longer getting glicthes with DOTA 2 although ive only played 3 games it seems spot on :)

Is this (skyrim issue) something that only cropped up since 12.11? I haven't played skyrim since I was on 12.4 or 12.6 and didn't really notice any issues at all.

Borderlands 2 issues seem to be focused around certain areas, usually closed up/indoor areas. The odd dips hasn't been enough to stop me playing over 150 hours of it so it can't be that bad :p

Have yet to really test 13.2 yet, its on the agenda for the weekend.

I tend to ignore anything you have to say :p
