AMD 13.2 Beta Driver

I tend to ignore anything you have to say :p

You tend to ignore everyone and only u is right lol :\

Like u just said u recommend 7950s but have no idea about AMD cards, u havent even had one yet recommend? This is where you fail my friend.

Still im happy with the first hour of these drivers i will test as much as i can the rest of the week but its looking much better!

Don't take this the wrong way and I am not pointing fingers at the people I have quoted (far from infact) but I do wish people would say about these things.

It would help tremendously when suggesting a GPU for someone that the games quoted (very often Skyrim and BL2 is the games perspective buyers are interested in) are not as smooth as should be.

I say this because quite often in the past, I have recommended a 7950/7850 for Skyrim on the assumption that it plays just as well on both manafacturers and then when a new driver is released, you find out that it didn't but does now.

Sorry again to quote you guys and rant over.

By smoother, I mean I can run PhysX on medium now without the frames dropping all over the shop like crazy. I have mentioned this recently regarding hybrid PhysX on CPU and AMD, usually runs like a bag of balls.

Proof of this please. I am not getting into a suspension argument because of your accusations. I try to give help and unbiased opinions to all. If Nvidia have been poor (which they have with recent drivers) I have told people this on numerous occasions

I rely on user feedback to go with recommendations and this is where I base my opinions. I know more about GPU's than you think and this is why I don't fail. I only fail when feedback is short of certain elements.

Good for you.

Ahhh fair play. I assumed it wasn't smooth regardless of PhysX. I always like your honesty and this is a rarity with some users.

If you can tommy that would be awesome as I doubt I'll get back to my pc before Friday :)

Afterburner and trixx are the main ones I need to test.

All fine on W7 ulps enabled/disabled, zero hangs.

:)

Darksiders 2 artifacting though, I'm sure I saw some on DMC4 too.:(

That's great news :D

Shame about the artifacts, though it is a beta and hopefully be sorted in the next release.

No more system reboots before benching/monitoring yey!!!

What artifacts?

DOTA 2 is cured.

I hope Darksouls is then i will just keep the 7970 and not get the 680 :D

Fingers crossed but it looks like the fix for texture artifacts on dx9 engines has finally cured this little evil from iracing :)

Can people stop trashing threads please, it's so boring and childish.

Keep it on topic or don't comment.

+1 for Skyrim being much smoother, i still think Radeon Pro makes it even smoother though.

Gonna test more games, i hope the random glitches are gone.

Overall its looking good and some progression :)

Just finished a session in Skyrim and it's now smooth as silk with no stuttering when turning or moving sideways and I've not seen any texture artifacts either - both of which were an annoyance with the previous drivers. :)

Sounds great for Skyrim, I will check when I get home.

Cheers for the heads up.

Looking forward to testing these myself, happy with 13.1 for the games I play at the moment but improvements are always appreciated.
