AMD 6000+ or Intel E6600

right im thinking off getting a 6000 (already on am2) wil my board asus m2n-mx be okay with it . can i just pop it in and away i go or do i have to update bios or anything .says it supports all dualcores and fx range but that was before 6000 came out ??

Wow, thats interesting.

It completely destroys the E6300 in some games. :D
 
yeah, and even if it did....for example overclock to 3.4ghz.....the Core 2 duo at 3.0 would outperform it.
 
amd 6000+, and def if not oc-ing

I dont know why anyone should upgrade from am2 to 775 at, isnt a 6000+ fast enough? Suley it is, unelss you are a video editor that needs a quadcore now, why go for core 2 duo?

If someone wants a new board, then sure core2duo all the way, but why would someone change socket while it has plenty of upgrade options on his own still?
