AMD 9800X3D ETA OFFICIAL THREAD

My OC account says I selected Royal Mail 3 - 5 working days (paid £3.99) Didn't see any free delivery options, assume that's why I won't be receiving an email from DPD. If it's not this week then next week it is, there's plenty of life left in my 9900k in any case! (ordered 14:11:14)

Watching you get your DPD emails is crushing me, I hesistated on buying whilst I decided on another part for my build. That 20 minutes put me right at the start of the 2nd wave.

I hope your parts all arrive safe and well, with no shenanigans from the couriers.

Grats to people that got an email, it feels like waiting for a reply for your dream job haha

Not gonna lie, this launch is kind of exciting, but maybe only cos I am reasonably early pre-order :D
I'm excited too. Only reason I'm nervous is because my house is empty Thursday and Friday, hate not being in for parcels especially when the nearest pickup point has a habit of "losing" parcels that get dropped off there.

fwiw my Date of order: 07.11.2024 14:39:50 (I was ready to order before but was checking other sites and my colleages kept making me do work. I should have checked OC sooner!)

No DPD email; no surprise. But it's looking hopeful for me for the next batch.

I have never had a problem with DPD once. Other couriers on the other hand hand... Completely different story. My motherboard went missing last week and the courier stated "its probably in here somewhere. I will drop it off I find it"
found out later they didn't package it, just shipped it in it's own box and slapped my address label on it.
Idiots.

Had a CPU go missing many years ago from the same courier.

I don't mind so much as long as I get it this week.
but if mine doesn't get sent out today it will be a bit frustrating considering there are people with an email that ordered well after me. :/

A long time ago (I'm talking > 15 years ago) DPD were bad for me. But one day they suddenly got good and have been ever since. It might depend a bit on where you live, but always on time and always accurately tracked in the app, down to how many stops away they are. I don't get damaged boxes, either.
