What I try to say is that pre order should be for the shop to know how many CPU or other product they will need for lunch. Then they should order that amount of CPU and have it in stock on the release day.

I am not blaming ocuk only it is the whole system wrong. Who knows that this is a true story that customs hold it now ? Maybe they never had it in first place just started pre order to make money quicker and get the customers to buy from them ? Not saying it is trubut never know.

Hopefully I should be tomorrow as I ordered dead on 2pm, but even Wednesday or the end of the week would be better than nothing.

Just want to get that sexy beast in my hand. I know I will never see it after it's installed, but I absolutely love the IHS shape. Stirs something in me.

I thought I was the only one with a strange love for that AM5 IHS shape.

All retailers are under NDA, so price/release time can not be released. Take money for preorders with no confirmed price is a whole can of worms to be opened too.

I hate new tech launches nowadays, could have ordered from OcUK 5 mins before 14:00 but kept refreshing other places for the IN STOCK sign because someone mentioned there might be a delay with OcUK and then ended up ordering at 14:07:37 and now all these delays... Is it the orange man's fault

I am sorry and i do not mean to be rude but what are you going on about. AS posted previously by Gobbo, OCUK have in total 10000 on order as they expected this to be popular. They were never goingh to receive all in one go though let5s face it. OCUK have been very transparent. If you go back just a couple of pages ytou will see a update where Gibbo saif if you ordered Pre 14:10-14:15 you will recieve this week or next week. I would guess based on his latest update you may well receive later this week, next week worse case scenario. I think the situation has been made perfectly clear by OCUK and do not see they can do anymore. The system isnt wrong, its how it always works and on popular product launches there are always delays its just how it is. I am reasonably confident the world is going to keep spinning regardless of when stock arrives

Understand your point of view. But that doesn't mean you right. For me the system is wrong for you it's not for other is even different thinking. We do not need to agree but I will still say it's wrong that you pay for something, company's hold or even already use your money to make more money and you don't get your things. But I completely understand this is the world we live in unfortunately.

It's a CPU not heart medication... It will be here when it's here. you will live.

There is nothing to suggest OCUK is lying, why would they? They could easily have said AMD haven't sent any units yet if they wanted to make things up.

If you're that worried cancel your preorder and find it somewhere else and stop moaning. Seriously dude.

I get your point about paying for something and company A having your money (earning interest off it) while you are without the goods for an extended period excluding delivery BUT you have a choice! If you don't like that state of affairs you can cancel your order and wait for stock to be plentiful and we return to the "normal" way of things.

People buying brand new products which are in huge demand who start whinging about having to wait longer than normal really gets my goat.

I got right to do so dude. I don't have to agree with everything around world.

If I knew they will have that problem I will order it somewhere else. But unfortunately now is to late as everyone sold out. That's why I am going to repeat shops should not sale if not physically got in stock. Pre order should be before release to inform sellers how many items of product they need for the day of release and AMD should deliver that amount for that day etc if they can't shop should stop pre orders. that's why I understand is the whole system wrong. That's how I remember pre order in the old times . Never had an issues then.

Don't need to repeat is not medication etc. I know that and I will live even if I don't get it , still got right to say my opinion about it.

Thats what happened to me, I see OCUK go live at 1:55 but decided to wait and see if I could find any that were in stock. I could have got one which was in stock but everywhere else was charging above MSRP and I refuse to pay above MSRP on an already expensive product so went back and pre ordered.
