AMD bag BF4

I'm hoping AMD add some form of compute based SSAA like in sleeping dogs though that might end up being far too demanding on the gpu in a game like battlefield.

I cant get over how expensive it is to buy :S Why are we getting console pricing on a PC platform whilst console gamers are getting N64 pricing? EA are seriously price gouging this so I won't be buying it until its £30 or less AND has some reviews saying its actually good first.

Origin/EA logic.

Send out survey asking customers why they don't buy direct off Origin. > Customers answer back saying prices are too high! > Origin response, put up prices...

The recent EA games have all been £10/15 dearer then other games on Origin, just look around.

I've been playing the BF series since 1942 / Desert Combat mod and I've enjoyed all of them, including BF3 tbh. So I'll be getting BF4 as well.

If AMD get the performance lead with this I'll probably drop Nvidia next gen and go team RED. Its been a while for me but I think AMD did really good this gen...

I understand the BF3 haters, especially after BF2, but I still enjoyed it and I've spent allot of hours playing it. So for me its decent value for money. I can easily spend £60 just going out for a few drinks one evening, so considering how many nights entertainment a game I enjoy gives me, its not that big a deal.

Having a 7970 myself this pleases me, and to think I was going to pay more for a 680 because I thought it would have better game support.

Im not suprised the trailer was complete crap.Honestly this is BF4? It looks just like BF3 and i could notice the amount of low fps feel or microstutter in the video was awful.

Just the same as BF3 then, crap mouse stutter on single cards, blurry graphics and its hardly been out and they have plans for another?

;) Dont think so EA

I'm a huge HUGE BF2 fan.

As much as I loved BF3 when it came out, I never kept with it. Not sure why, maybe I put in too many hours into BF2, but there's also something graphically I didn't like, can't put my finger on it.

May try it again with my new monitor/card combo and see if I can get into it again. I doubt it though.

Am i the only person that thought the graphics looked great on the trailer?:(
I'll be getting it for sure, i agree with what people are saying though, perhaps it is a little too soon, i really hope it doesn't end up taking the same road COD did.
Ii did/still do enjoy BF3 both singleplayer and online, really do wish they sort out a few things like the suppression effect(total crap and makes no sense at all) bring back commander and make Hardcore mode a little more realistic for BF4.
Guess well have to wait and see.

I've owned all the Battlefield games to date so no doubt I'll buy this one.... Just hope the requirements to play it with high settings isn't ridiculous! I'm upgrading at somepoint this year prob around May/June but it'll be the last time I update for at least a year! If only money did grow on trees! :-P
