AMD bag BF4

was thinking of preordering, just wondering if anybody who ordered teh simcity deluxe have used their £15 voucher to use on the bf3 pre order if thats even possible.
 
urgh problem is if AMD get too popular I won't be able to afford their next set of cards lol as they will get bigheaded like nvidia with pricing.

I dont post much, but I read these forums every day. Each time someone mentions an AMD card, which in its price range is the best bang for buck. We get the nvidia force jumping in. That thread got stupid to be fair, it went from price/power ratio, to looks. Nah na naa nah.
Pathetic, the same nvidia faces jumping in and waving the nvidia flag with no regard to the thread in the first place.

If this keeps up, ill be going else where for my information as these handbag wars really get my goat. I see an AMD thread, "oooo information on a AMD card" which I would like to thank LtMatt for as without him, I wouldnt know about a lot of the beta drivers

But.... it gets swamped by the nvidia crew trying to justify there purchases. YAWN

to look at it another way... if someone posts up asking about AMD cards only, no one mentions nvidia... the "nvidia force" actually try to help suggest which AMD cards they should buy

if someone posts up saying "I want to buy a 670 or a Titan" we get 5 pages of why they should buy an AMD card instead

at the end of the day, Matt said something that was out of order and got suspended for it... the "nvidia force" as you put it are capable of having a reasoned discussion and advising people to buy AMD cards where it makes sense for them, without resorting to childish insults

even in the 7990 thread, it was matt who mentioned Titan first, and other AMD owners that responded about Titan, way before any actual nvidia owners joined the conversation

7950/7970 is great 670/680 is great. Stop the retarded yabbing because its makes people not even wanting to read this section.

Some people here really need to tuck there e-peen back in once in a while as 90% don't give a .... about your opinions. Whenever i see people slacking amd drivers nowadays it's clear they just living in the past.
 
The sticky labels the rules quite clearly, yet i keep seeing these ridiculous and unnecessary debates between people who favour either side. I've owned both, i'm currently an Nvidia user, yet, i still help people out who want an AMD card, i still check out the RadeonPro thread to help people out as i used it avidly before i moved over.

If you favour whichever side for whatever reason, then keep it to yourself, don't start trashing threads because of your favoritism, it doesn't help the forums with that kind of behaviour.

There's always two sides to a story.

I'm sure matt must have got fed up with the to and fro baiting, he tried to diffuse it but it fell on deaf ears.

It was plain reading that he had enough and ended up saying something tounge in cheek he shouldn't have, probably out of frustration more than anything else.

This place is going downhill again, most in part due to Nvidia's high pricing policy, leaving some diehards with not much option but recommend AMD, but it's obviously an issue with some now when recommending a cheaper alternative.

Everyone calm down now and start behaving yourselves, you're upsetting DigitalPrime. If you don't then not only will he stop posting occasionally, but he'll actually stop reading these forums altogether. This is no idle threat... Just you sort it out now, or be forced to live with the consequences.
