• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

AMD Bulldozer Finally!

I wouldn't go that far, but there was a clear suggestion that design sacrifices were made to ensure that BD (& AM3+) would work with AM3 and vice versa.

Which might have made good sence if they had managed to get it shipped six or preferably nine months ago.
They didn't and date pushing for the next generation of chips might hurt very very badly.

......................................................
Link me to a Llano PC on PC World, not a 2 month old article.

I said that's the first place you would look & didn't say that they would have any in stock.

If they were in stock & were not selling then you could say consumers are not buying.

And two months old :p
EDIT : Sorry.
EDIT 2 : But all you've done Final8 is prove my point, it's not readily available for the general populace.

No you said
The average consumer wouldn't buy llano, as it's not in the shops as such last time I checked, they're full of SB computers.
Llano is/was too expensive at launch for its target market.

First before you know they would not it has to be available to them.

So the only point that is valid is the lack of availability.

There are places in the UK but its from places that are clear competitors.

The average consumer wouldn't buy Llano is correct, that is the current case, and why I made the point, as I'd previously looked at the Argos catalouge.
Hell, I even made the point in the post you quoted...

They're not buying Llano, as they're not available to buy, SB is however..
Which nulls your point about wouldn't.

Oh dear...

You clearly don't understand the term wouldn't to can't.

If its not available then you cant buy it.

They wouldn't be buying Llano, and they're not buying Llano, because they can't.
How are you not grasping that?
Llano isn't readily available, so they won't buy it, even though it's available at OCUK etc.
EDIT : To make it easy.
Llano is available, the general populace however aren't buying, but they won't, due to the limited availability.
From the general places, they can't buy it, as it's not available.

Because your mixing up the meanings with incorrect context.

Because there is difference to wont buy it because they don't want it & to wont be buying it because its not available.

They can't buy it from their usual places.
And they won't be buying it from OCUK etc, as the general populace don't shop here or competitors.

Both statements are true, now give it a rest.
