I thought DX 12 did what op is suggesting amd is doing. With DX 12 u get all those things so why bring it up as a amd thing? Unless I'm mistaken.

Maybe they do 1 on nvidia cards but can't see amd cards do more at current or past gen cards as its a DX issue not hardware issue. All this will be unlocked with dx12. AFAIK at least.

It is an AMD PR piece.

Wonderful article (as usual) from Joel Hruska. :)

I for one am looking forward to the 'Vaseline smeared screen effect' being used more efficiently. Thanks AMD!

Shame their PR is all about tech that wont probably ever get much exposure or use at all :(

The whole company needs a PR education course imho, nothing like building hype for a product, but then again this *is* AMD, i guess they cannot afford to hype a product that ultimately will fail in atleast 1 department :( with the 290 that was noise and heat, wondering what the 390X's failure(s) will be? :(

yes im extremely jaded with AMD right now if you cant tell, i know we got ages to wait to see the cards, but a little bit of a tease and small tidbits of info would do wonders for the company right now.
