AMD freesync coming soon, no extra costs.... shocker

LG IPS 226-V

Nice screen, my first IPS and by far the best screen i have had, tho its getting old now... would never go back to TN.

No lightboost feature with that. People say it gives CRT smoothness but the washed colours are not for me. I find it a chore messing about with the colours and then setting them back when I want the game to play normal.

Colours are awful on the BENQ to begin with... :p

Indeed they are. It makes it even worse :D.

I have my BenQ side by side with my Dell monitor... it's really bad to look at the difference in the two. My BenQ is for FPS gaming only though so I don't mind too much. I'll end up getting a new 120 Hz at some point but I really like the way my BenQ performs.

The XL2420T has awful colours out of the box. It's always been good value though, as are most BenQ

Yeah stock settings are very bad. I use calibration settings and feel it gives very good blacks and colours.
But tbh I wouldn't know any difference never used a ips display and wouldn't want to either.
AAll about refresh rate for me.
