So these 12.11 betas will probably be the 12.12whql driver?
One of the reviews suggested that the 'final' 12.11 driver will be included in a WHQL by the end of november, so probably a 12.11 WHQL.

Do you know how to install regular applications?
If ATI - express unistall, reboot, delete the folders under program files, install new drivers.
If Nvidia unistall the display driver in add remove programs, reboot, proceed to uninstall all the other nvidia bits and peices, reboot, install new drivers...
Why is any of that confusing?????

"Never Settle" is why I moved to Nvidia![]()
Just a question guys, back when Nvidia had that issue with a driver which caused GPU's to over heat, where they beta's?
For this example, lets just say they where, and they broke your gpu, is that covered by warranty?
Just ran a heaven benchmark and got 1839 score on my 1050/1425 clock stock 7970 using 12.8
12.11 score rose to 1903. Nice improvement!
I'm kicking myself that I never saw the review of an AC Extreme 79 sitting on top of the His-IceQ 7950, if I knew it fitted for sure, it would never have gone back, there was nothing between the great clocking 50 I had and my average clocking 70.
Some lucky sod has got themselves a very good clocker in B-grade, and they might not even know.![]()

That must sting a little.
I went out of my way to get this specific card with it's ref 7970 pcb/8+6pin blahblah thinking it'd be almost guaranteed 1200 or so, but nope. Baby don't dig a lot of voltage, so we're staying at 1150/1425 as the memory's a stubborn sod too.
Still, can't complain too much I guess.
