From Guru3D

"We might need to take these drivers offline, AMD is creating a new build to fix some bugs that are in this version. Just so that you guys know !"

Guru3D have removed the drivers, they have some bugs which amd is fixing, they will still be released today though so its nothing major by the looks of it.

UPDATE - At the request of AMD the driver has been taken offline. They discovered some bugs and a new build is due to be released later today. Please keep checking this post, once we have the new build we'll update the file-mirror and thus the download.

AMD in 'broken driver' shocker!!!

Only joking and I hope they get sorted quick :)

Its not their fault Guru3D decided to leak it. I think a few bugs were reported by other review sites and AMD are rightly going to fix those before it goes live on their website. ;)

Our testing didn't go without issues though; during one of our test we had some missing geometry that was...distracting.
This didn't happen every time we played the game, but it was frequent enough to be more than a mild issue. To be fair, AMD did tell us about this bug BEFORE we did our testing so they were upfront about it. Also, the driver that is being released later this week for the public to download should have the fix for this in place.

Oh, and obviously, our performance testing was done only on run throughs with all items...you know, there.

Well ive downloaded the drivers, have a few hours to kill before MOH is released so i may as well try them out. Wish me luck. :D

The 7870 was already faster than the GTX 660, also the 7950 was already faster than the GTX 660ti.

With these drivers they pull ahead even further.

stock

660 comparable to 7850
660Ti comparable to 7870
670 comparable to 7950
680 comparable to 7970

I'm not sure why we're suddenly comparing diagonally rather than horizontally?

On a separate note, Anand confirmed they are going to update their GPU Bench 2012 facility to incorporate these drivers.

At stock at least the 660TI was faster than the 7950 (800MHz edition) I thought. Oh well, irrelevant now. 660TI is no match for a 7950 especially now
