You asked people on this forum to share for prime stabilty.

I installed mine and gave feedback.

I'm just interested in your opty 170 .

show me your benchies?
show me the information about your setup.

show me the overclockabilty of your opty?

I know the current temps are fine as such, but they do seem somewhat higher than some temps reported at various places. Obviously it's all different from CPU to CPU, stepping to stepping, motherboard to motherboard, etc.

small FFT is the stabilty killer!

crack that and you are sorted.

use memtest etc... for other ailments

Oh, I asked that people actually made some screenshots to show their overclocks, instead of just saying they had done blah blah, up until that point there had been no visual proof to backup peoples claims, and I guess you listen to me as I have now seen your stability screenshots in everythread :)

I didn't install any 170's yet, been a bit busy and been playing around with my 5 week old 146 still. . .

Thanks - yeah I'll be doing the "normal" set of tests over time, first I'm focusing on the CPU, then I'll have a go at the XMS3500LL memory.

Was that ordered when the price was £350 ish or after the price drop? I was meaning I am curious to see what the cheaper/restock chips are?
