AMD always said July. On the contrary Nvidia had hinted March, then April and finally they are coming some time in JUNE..... but what to expect from people with small memory span.
After that JayzTwoCents video I would definitely give the Founders card a miss and wait for the AIB custom cards, if Nvidia is your bag.![]()

Still unclear if there is going to be a 490/X it can't be Vega because surely that's Fury replacement
Everything seems to hint at 480/X I'll be hugely disappointed if there is no 490 to consider swapping my 290X for
I think AMD will be dropping the fury name, too much bad press. Vega will be 490/x

Well some people remain convinced the top Polaris 10 will be around 980Ti/1070-level of performance...AMD don't need to release anything, as they aren't competing with Nvidias 1080/70, they are in a different market.

Depends on just how close in price they'd be.They might not be competing with each other performance wise (since Polaris 10 is at best around 980/390X level), but pricing may push them into competing each other. I've already mentioned it once. If the top end Polaris releases above £200 and 1070 is close to £300 or even under it, then they'll be pit against each other, just because of how close the prices are. Of course, at such pricing a 1070 would win with more performance (less than £100 extra for a fair bit more grunt). But all this is just speculation on my part. I for one hope that Polaris 10 doesn't exceed the £200 mark.

They should bring back the 'Rage' branding.
