AMD Polaris architecture – GCN 4.0

What was the score?

I think if he is leaking, this might be under or over by up to 10%, since he would be caught out directly posting the numbers.

But the values look like 3D mark P and X score.

These values put it around stock titan x if they are a leak.

Im 90% positive that im going to be the owner of a polaris card. They would have to be worse than the 390 for me to reconsider or the prices would have to match the 1080 which i doubt will happen. My 290 is already feeling a bit tired..

The guy tweeting those pedometer readings was talking about how much he has walked. It's pure BS to link it to a 3Dmark score. The 'Oof' bit simply means he has walked much more than the target goal of around 7788 steps.

I wish it was related to Polaris but I think the Koopa Doopa guy is just speculating. Can anyone link to the Koopa Doopa twitter page so we can get a better insight into this tweet. Rather annoying to just post a picture of a tweet with no actual reference link.

He has other pics showing lower values and a constantly changing goal value, the actual value always being far greater than the goal, but compared to cards that are out, these values fit very well to what is seen for 3d mark performance and then extreme scores. And it is very possible he is doing a cheeky leak for people back at tweak town, with them knowing the method he is using, which is why I said the actual value could be 10% lower or higher.

Jason @killyourfm is the original poster of the image but the Koopa Doopa guy is the one saying it may be a 3dmark score. Can anyone post the link to the Koopa Doopa post in the image if it exists?

For £300 i'd be happy with that given the 390X is = 980 which is 970 + 15%.

An 8GB card that plays 1440P near to what my 970 plays 1080P gets my £300.

Apparently it runs Doom at 1440p with better fps than the 380x can get at 1080p so that gives a good estimation.

Potentially its on par with a Fury nano at least since Hitman was running at 1440P@ 60fps locked which even the 980ti barely does.

I would say so. The 380x is no slouch at 1080p, almost as fast as a 290. And hitman has always ran great on AMD so if it can run it as good as a 980ti than most of the time it may be just 15% slower or so.

From that video, If the info around the GMI links on the summit ridge parts is correct, makes me wonder if they will do a Coherent fabric connection over PCI between GPU and CPU. Now that would be a selling point if your AMD CPU can talk to your AMD GPU with lower latency and higher bandwith.
