Bought another GPU just for benching with no intention of keeping it is abusing the DSR system. Sorry but that's out of order.

Quad works pretty well in Firestrike it must be said. And yes sorry guys i won't be keeping a gpu that is giving me the odd black screens, such is life.

It's going back as faulty, I've already got the rma set up. As i said i wanted to try out Quad Fire before i returned it. The new card doesn't give me the odd black screen so ill be keeping it.

I say rma they just told me to return it. (though they're coming to collect it) Either way, they know the issue i was having with it and will let them sort it. I'm not going to worry about it.
Stock. Pumping voltage through it and clocking it up and it works fine. Not putting up with it.

Nah three is the sweet spot. Four on air would be a nightmare, three you can get by with so long as you have good case cooling.

Did you tell them you modified the card or keep it on the hush hush when you got it replaced after blowing it up?

I tested out TriFire before I sent a noisy 7950(full force TF fault) back at the time, depends who you are if you get stick then, unlucky matt.

You have me confused with someone else. I have never blown a card up (although you seem to think I did). If it makes you feel good though, carry on in your fantasy world. Morally I feel what Matt has done is wrong. End of.

That's the plan, but ideally I'd wait for FreeSync. Remains to be seen if i can wait that long.

Yep it shut off shorlty after passing 1800W, no idea how much it was actually using. I've finished now, don't want to break anything so will stop while im ahead. One card is going back anyway, not actually keeping four but wanted to try out quad fire and get on a few of the 3d mark scoreboards. Managed to beat out both of Kaaps quad titans and one of his quad 290x scores. That'll do for me on reference air.
This did make it Seem like LT only got the card to bench, He says he didnt fair enough by me, we all often word stuff not as we thought it

The seller encouraged me to try a second card to see if it occurred with that one so i was more than happy to do that. Glad i did as it's better to nip these things in the bud i think while you still have the DSR to fall back on. Great CS, it's why i use them most of the time.

300% BIOS has stopped the throttling and I was still getting it in this bench. Back to installing the latest drivers and I will see if I get any gains

I was getting throttling with my latest score to clarify. I predict a bit of a boost
