It's impossible to twist your honest 'Afraid so' after being asked 'killed the Titan', or anything you wrote in the posts, I wasn't in the discussion.

Give it a rest. It was extremely boring after the third or fourth time you started whinging about this. After the sixth it's becoming tedious and just coming across as personal and bitter. And to somebody who is now a member of the moderating team as well I just find it pathetic that you continue to bait him knowing that he can't / won't stoop to your level.

You can see from Greg's post explaining what happened that it didn't die due to being ragged - you don't even know from his post if he was overclocked while benching. But sure hang on to the fact that the loose conversation afterwards about the Titan being dead Greg very indirectly inferred that he killed his Titan. Do you not think that for an £800 GPU that if he had actually knowingly caused damage to it he would have not kept it quiet as to not potentially harm his warranty claim?

This is all tangential to the point that a DSR return and an RMA are completely different things so therefore had no relevance to the original discussion about Matt's DSR. But any old excuse to recycle the sad old anecdote under the guise of baiting huh?

Personally it doesn't bother me that much but it is morally wrong in my view but as Matt says it is his legal right irrespective of the morals :). Would I do it myself? Probably depending on what mood I was in. :D

I was pretty sure that a certain person had flashed a bios that allowed extra volts and had his Titan at silly clocks before it died at the desktop straight after. He then flashed the dead card back to stock bios and rma'd it.

I may just be remembering it wrong of course :)

Mantle has a dram leak in BF4, introduced with the Dragons Teeth patch. Next time you get fps drops ctrl+alt+tab and check dram usage. If it is past 3.5gb, you know you're suffering from it. Happens to me too, Dice are aware of it. Hope they fix it in the next patch. For now I'm slumming it on DX11. :o

So DX11 works consistently and Mantle doesn't? #differentgravey :p

But it doesn't happen in DirectX?
So same game, but it only happens with Mantle and not DirectX?
Everything is the same except the API?
Wonder what the cause could be? :p

BF4 had a well known DX Memory leak issue early on, and I have come across some Battlelog posts complaining about DX Memory leak problems with in the last couple of weeks.

So yes, The problem also exists in DX.

So why is LtMatt using DirectX now if it's got the same problem? If you're goign to get the problem anyway, why not use Mantle and get it?

Cant say i experienced any of those humbug. Most recent bug ive had is one that effects multi gpu users. Several of us who own sli and xfire setups, (Matt being another) had this last week. One thing about dice, they make sure that when theres an error, everyone gets it. No discrimination no matter what gpu's you own.:D

And tbh, the game is a bit poor at present, and having seen and played the CTE version. You kinda get frustrated when you see what the game is capable of being.

Missed out on Matt's reason for DSR :(
Isn't these the reasons they changed how DSR works, they can charge you now?

To hopefully stop people abusing it.

DSR you say Tone? ;)

I thought, but could be wrong the DX dram leak was fixed a while back. Either way this problem occurred after the Dragons Teeth patch as it was fine before that.
