** AMD R9 NANO NOW IN STOCK & AVAILABLE!! **

That's the /New/ AMD ;) :D

Said it before, but I fear this will be carried over to their new (properly new) 2016 range (Greenland, Ellesmere, etc).

If this truly is their new direction, of /not/ being the price/perf champion, then I suspect prices will simply go up across the whole range. Ie the R480 could be £300, the 490 £400, the new top end card £600...

I just want to be the first to be completely pessimistic about the new 2016 range, for maximum "I told you so" value should it come true :p

They might regain their sanity before then; we shall see.

I just wonder whether the market will accept two "premium" brands and nothing else.

Ouch. I'm surprised this is on par / higher than the fury x pricing. Amd must be hoping the premium for the form factor is worth it to people. Not sure it is?

Most itx cases are designed to take full length cards, at its price point the nano is irelavent.

LMAO...£200 overpriced. AMD lost their freaking marbles - Fury, Fury X and now Nano such a lame release, all been such a flop.

So glad I went for 2 390's a few months ago for less money and way more FPS. Bring on the proper Pascal cards please, fed up with these wannabe launches. Although in fairness, I never expected these Nano's to be anything less than under performing, over priced and over hyped.

Nice to see it is a full blown stream processors version :)

Have to agree about the price though given that it doesn't have an AIO with it.

Price is higher than it should be BUT funny to see all the Nvidia crew getting shocked at high pricing when they would quite happily pay more than that for anything Nvidia brings out.

If people hadn't lapped up the TX's and 980Ti's in droves for 600+ quid then the gpu manufacturers would think twice about releasing a product in that range. Now it looks like it going to be the norm sadly.

Like I've been saying for weeks they should have chopped it down to 3072 stream processors or something and got the price down closer to GTX970 mini, very few people want top end performance in SFF and those who do will buy a slightly bigger case tailored to it and a proper non-throttling card.

I suspect AMD's issues lie with manufacturing Fiji though.. it seems to be taking them so incredibly long to get products on shelves (presumably due to HBM/interposer etc) that they're probably prioritising the good cores to make as much money as possible.

But there is many AMD owners saying the same thing. Why must people always be "in a crew"? Seriously, stop it.

They should have done something!! When's the last time AMD/nVidia launched a new card and OcUK hadn't sold a single one within 6+ hours!!???? Absolutely crazy! This should send AMD a serious message tbh, we buyers aren't happy at all! :grrrr: :D

I swear the Fury line must account for something like 0.000000000000000000001% of OcUK's monthly graphics profit :D

Ludicrous price to say the least, and virtually no stock. Well played amd. I really wonder how much stock will be available of the fury-x2 or if they'll just bite the bullet and cancel it. Still seemingly barely any fiji cores, still stock of the furyx with pump noise issues, both of these don't bode well for the x2 which will probably be liquid cooled.

Oh come on AMD, anyone with a brain would buy the same performing and slightly more power hungry 290X over this, £550!!??

I am as shocked as other people that its over £500. I was expecting £450. As has been said before is it a case of limited stock drives up the price and come xmas time they will drop ?

One thing this release might do is up the sale of more 980ti's ! :)
