Literally the only reason you would be insane enough to buy one of these instead of a 980 TI is if you absolutely must have the smallest mITX case available.

I can't imagine the x2 having pump noise issues but you're bang on regarding the stock and how there's sadly whiners still doing the rounds. It's gotta be terrible for business.

Yes, people doing an SFF build. Though what can be seen now is that in an SFF case the 980ti throttles less so is a better buy even for SFF.

To put it in to perspective, there were 5 in stock at one oclock, there are 5 in stock now, someone says they bought 2... Not 200... 2... On launch day
That is quite literally the worst launch day sales ever seen on ocuk.

What's even better is that the guy responsible for the nano just got given the keys to the entire GPU kingdom and its fate rests squarely in his hands

Gibbo someone spelt "Vulkan API" wrong in the product description.

"Vulcan" think pointy ears

"Vulkan" is German for Volcano, you can probably see the connection to Mantle.

It is a tad expensive but it is unique in many ways and that was always enough to excuse premium prices from the competition.

Well someone instantly took £30 of the cost of the Powercolor, that was a bit of a joke but my god the price of some, Wasn't the recommended price around £509? I'm not sure how close that is with taxes and profit margins and such but some are priced at 600, was hoping these extreme markups wouldn't happen with the erm.. how did they put it, critical stock or whatever.
 
There are several mitx cases you can fit a 980Ti in. Much better option for a fairly small form factor front room gaming PC.

Nano looks pretty good to me, just too expensive and rubbish for a front room gaming PC, surely its main market.

Though I would be tempted to build a tiny rig for my sons room PC.......
