launch day = tomorrow, so we might hear something more tomorrow or the next day :) but that Nvida thread will consume all in its wake......oh God i can see it right now

Move the Radeon logo, change the mesh from holes to slots, it could work.

yea, i doubt it'll look anything like the 295X2, but you'll deffo need to find room for its radiator, this will be a problem, i need to get this right today before wasting time spraying this new case.

I already have an AIO on my cpu its only a 120mm though, but i can lob that out and slap a 280mm cpu cooler in and put the AIO rad from a 390X in its spot.

Would prefer an air cooled card tbh, but beggars cant be choosers.

So much room in my Enthoo Primo, glad i bought it

Prices and initial performance evaluation: At CeBIT could bring heise online first details about AMD's upcoming Radeon graphics cards generation R9 300 in experience.

AMD's next-generation Radeon graphics cards R9 300 will finally deliver enough 3D performance for virtual reality and games in 4K. At CeBIT heise online was able to bring the currently planned prices for AMD's next-generation graphics cards and a rough classification performance in experience. Accordingly, there is AMD's new line of seven cards. Ascending order of performance are: Radeon R7 360, Radeon R7 360X, Radeon R9 370, Radeon R9 380, Radeon R9 380X, Radeon Radeon R9 R9 390 and 390X.

More than $ 700 for Radeon R9 390X

Probably only the fastest two variants R9 390 and 390X with particularly rapid Stack (HBM) will be provided. Both cards will also be significantly more expensive than the other models. So shall the Radeon cost R9 390 700 US dollars, the Radeon R9 390X is indicated on the turned down by us price list "700+". Regarding the performance assigns AMD Radeon both cards between the R9 290X and the lightning-fast dual-GPU card Radeon R9 295X2 one.

With the upcoming high-end graphics cards AMD Radeon R9 390 and 390X should also demanding games run smoothly in 4K with maximum detail level.

The Radeon R9 380X will cost $ 400, according to our information, the R9 380 is given as $ 330. Both cards are to be faster than the Radeon Radeon R9 R9 290. The 370 will cost $ 200 and between the Radeon R9 270X and the R9 285 level off in terms of performance, the 150 US dollar R7 360X is at the level of the Radeon R7 265. 110 US dollar costs the entry card Radeon R7 360, the power should lie between the cards R7 250X and 260X.

When the two high-end variants to appear R9 390 and 390X is unclear. A few months ago we started from April at CeBIT doubt it but some manufacturers.

Nvidia Titanium X with more than 12,000 3DMarks

In November, there were the first signs of AMD graphics chip Fiji.
In November, there were the first signs of AMD graphics chip Fiji. Vergrößern The competition from Nvidia, meanwhile, does not sleep and wants on Tuesday, the GeForce GTX Titan X officially launch after it has already given at the Games Developer Conference (GDC) a sneak peek on the map. As we aufschnappten at CeBIT, should clearly establish Firestrike over 12,000 points in 3DMark Nvidia's new high-end flagship. How much will cost the Titan X, is not yet known.

According to rumors, the upcoming AMD graphics chip swallows 300 Watt and is stacked DRAM memory (High Bandwidth Memory / HBM). This allows much higher data transfer rates than the previous GDDR5 memory. Depending on the configuration transfer rate of 512 GB / s and more are possible.

In early November, AMD had apparently sent the first prototypes of future high-end graphics cards for technical checks to India. This involved a "Video Graphic Card" with the name "Fiji C880 XT". Nvidia's upcoming high-end GPU will run under the name GM200.

4K and VR need massive 3D performance

A new, much more powerful GPU generation is required to play in 4K resolution. To illustrate liquid games in 4K, graphics cards have eight instead of two million pixels per frame calculate - ideally 60 times per second. The currently provide for current DirectX 11 games at most graphics cards with two graphics chips or graphics card associations, swallow much more than 300 watts and bring many disadvantages such as micro stuttering. For very demanding titles like Assassin's Creed Unity even dual-GPU systems are overwhelmed in 4K depending on the setting

$700 from these guys. Take it or leave it :)

A lot better value than a Titan X if it outperforms it or at least matches it. Even so I blame Nvidia for setting such high prices for single high end cards causing Amd's prices to creep up as well if this price is true that is.

what's the rads total depth dimension.... both fans ????? because Megahalems is right in the way of the 2nd roof vent on this new case..........this IN-WIN 703 is only good for the TITAN X..

the IN-WIN 707 is perfect but i'm using it right now, so i cant strip it and respray it and leave it upstairs till june..i've just brought an airbrush and over 60 quid in custom metalflakes.

the only thing that'll work real easy is another 707 but this is getting very stupid right now, i'm just like BOOOM except i spend a fortune on PC CASES Instead

Well technically, the 7970 launched at $549 and the 680 launched at $499, so I blame AMD for setting such high prices allowing the nVidia to creep up the prices ;)

Well prices matter on what performance it gives.

If it even challenges the Titan X it'll be a steal and you have got to assume that with that pricing they think it'll really outperform the 980.

It's looking good.
