**AMD Radeon 390X Graphics Card WCE**

I reward my pets when they are good :D

And I did my part for the AMD resurgence... Anyone who bought a 290/X (or any AMD card for that matter) from ebay/MM/gumtree/bloke in the pub, hold your heads in shame :D

lol that you did Greg,

hey I got my PCS+ 290 on the last day it was 199.....now got to build new system around it as it doesn't fully fit my old case LOL by 3mm

This is what I get for doing an eyeing it up measuring...*the card is a freaking beast*

That's old my son will get my old system :D

Yeah I'm sure this is good business strategy. Moving 2xx series stock and keeping hush from nvidia and pretty much the whole world. Never mind all the frustrated and impatient people opting for Nvidia instead due to their silence. Personally, I think they're so quiet because the 390X is most likely going to underperform or disappoint.

TX runs hot and noisy with OC, it looks like this boring waiting game is back on....things look clearer now, lets wait and see what the 390X is like and if it's not suitable, only get a Water Cooled TX

With the Titan X OC'd the performance is insane so it's no surprise they can get toasty. At stock clocks the fan does not ramp up very much but temps are allowed to go over 80c.

People crucified AMD for a hot noisy 290 but it seems it's ok coz its a near ok £1000 Nvidia card...

I had a total of 6-R9-290s (with aftermarket coolers) only a few coolers from PCS+ and Sapphire are ok all others cards run pretty wildly many times in the high 80s up to 94c. The Titan X doesn't even run that high on the temps (of what people are saying) Will confirm ofcourse tomorrow if I can get my card.

After a 10 minute gaming run. I can only guess that other sites are taking results early. That is why I don't have a Titan X already installed.

I am currently running a HIS 290 IceQ X² OC which reaches 72C @ 55% fan. It was hitting 76C prior to some new paste(Noctua NT-H1). By comparison I had a MSI 970 OC Gaming which was hitting 71C.

Good cooling solutions make a huge difference.
