Amd Radeon next move?

I am not impressed with the 970/980.
I do like the thermal efficiency though with them but performance?
My 290 sits there perfectly fine.

People are thinking of it from the point of view as us just posting on a forum. When a hobby or something fun becomes a job it usually isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I like building PC's, I wouldn't want to work 8 hours a day building them.

once money enters the picture everything changes.

doing something cause you love or enjoy it is totally different to being paid to do it.

If already coming from 780 or 780ti or Titan then yeah if I was a Nvidia user wanting latest. Its quite a poor release tbh

But
If coming from 600 series then its a stunning time for a Nvidia users to upgrade.

I just double checked the thread title, in case I messed up and it actually said "AMD Matt next move".

I think Matt has better things to do than worry about us guys in truth and is probably learning the ropes in his new role and I for one wish him all the success for the future. He is getting paid for promoting AMD on facebook and twitter etc and that can't be a bad thing

I think this thread should be closed as it has no value what so ever to PC components let alone GPUs.

I don't think Matt's movements count as anything to do with the above at all.
