AMD Radeon R9 290X with Hawaii GPU pictured, has 512-bit 4GB Memory

I've come a bit late to the party...how do these perform? What's the closest card to compare them to? Or don't we know yet (in other words have they not given us any important information yet?)

sorry if posted but I can't keep up. That score I assume is 8K and it is on Firestrike performance. Hopefully it will have some serious overclocking power.

Nice find Greg, so the extreme thing wasn't there in black and white, people were just seeing what they wanted to see :D

Looking at that chart.....where did the R9 290 come from? Because they mentioned that aswell as the R9 290x.

Well it's funny how none of the AMD boys said this would be the case earlier today before the event. Everyone was raving about prices being revealed and TITAN KILLING specs.

Because anyone who has watched press events before should know they show other technologies and that before the main event.

Simple really.

Seems like an awful game anyway, tech guys trying to be cool on stage is always bad.

I think these two thought this would be a general Apple presentation crowd or fanboys of their previous games crowd...
