Did anywhere record the live stream ? Went to bed at 11pm and as luck would have it the mantle api and bf4 came on right after i went.
Finally people coming round to what i said earlier last night and had several different people mocking me.
An overclocked 7950 is not going to beat a 290x. Its pretty obvious can't believe no one could see it. It just doesn't look to be possible from the specs of the two cards card. As Cat may have suggested i think they're being deliberately shy about the performance in order to spring a surprise come review time. Regardless though makes no difference to me as i won't be upgrading.
This was not a product launch as far as i know.
Like I said over a week ago the 7990 will be the current best buy whilst sub £500 as faster.
How will the 290x compare to the titan/780 on performance terms? People here seem to think a overclocked 7950 can beat it?
A 7950/70/7990 will all be bottlenecked by your cpu.
