I'm inclined to agree but if that was a standard firestrike score then why is my £230 7950 beating a new top of the line gpu? It has to be extreme.

If it beats the 7990 then you can only guess what the price will end up being...:rolleyes:

Although people predicted the 7990 would still be quicker. All very much a guessing game until we get to see some clarification and raw numbers.
 
If the consoles are using the same sound as well as graphics hardware AMD might be the best choice for people looking for a new gcard
 
Arggghhh....this guy is talking nonsense about audio. I'm still keeping my Creative Sound Blaster Awesome Pro True 64bit HD PCI-E Edition v2, dedicated sound card.
 
Looking at the various tech sites twitter feeds the AstoundSound demo went down well. Not so much here. Tough crowd at ocuk :D
