AMD RAMDisk

I am giving this a try today :) I normaly video capture games so faster load times would be great on some games that stream data.

I bet when DDR 4 comes out this would be great but then we are getting new sata interface for ssd to be faster so who knows
 
Yeah, I used FancyCache for a while. Huge benchmark numbers, but practically no real performance improvement.
I guess for certain tasks it would be a bonus, but not for everyday pootling like wot I do...

PCIE SSD's are indeed getting the same kinds of (theoretical) numbers as RAM drives, with a lot more space (although costlier)

Am thinking of this option myself rather than a RAM drive.

Doesn't seem like a very efficient use of it really, you've got an SSD so just use it. A RAM disk is only going to really prove beneficial when working with large amounts of data.
