AMD RX 580 and RX 560 leak

Vega comes out and is in between a 1080 and To with a price to match.
580 comes out , on par with a 1070 and price of the 1060. Vega would be a white wash. Haha

Can all dream and hope.

So they reckon Polaris has been using 14LPE the whole time, instead of 14LPP?

That would make a lot of sense if true. 14LPP is supposed to be a nice chunk better, and Polaris under-delivered on what its potential seemed to be.

AFAIK all production through 2016 was 14LPP. I guess technically its not impossible but usually LPE type stuff is aimed at lower power, lower density stuff than GPUs.

Or that the RX480 will be allowed to sink back towards release prices, and they'll bring the RX 580 in a little above? (Kinda like the old 7850 and 7870/90 scenario)?
It could be higher priced than RX480 and still be cheaper than 1070.

RX 480 is below launch prices!

RX 480 8G £179 at OcUK, launch price on MBA blower was £218.99 :)

But what if AMD is going to phase out the Polaris 4XX cards in favour of better clocked 5xx variants and keep the prices similar? and the drop the bigger 5XX Vega cards, then they have a single product line of 5XX Cards ranging from the low end to the high end, no confusion, rather than having 4XX and 5XX cards and people wondering what card is what on each stack?

Wow what a concept....
