AMD RX 580 and RX 560 leak

learning from mistakes, nice 8 pin in there. Cant help but feel GDDR5X should have been used for the 580 and 8ghz DDR5 for the 570 regardless of size. could have increased the cost of the 580, but with the pricing of the 480 and 470 was just silly. would happil pay £50 more for the X ram , guessing it would have cost them $10 extra per card for the swap

Take what you see with a pinch of salt until you see it from more reputable websites. I am hoping for a bit more too, hopefully we don't have long to wait.

Hoping I can squeeze out some info today :D

but guessing they couldn't put to much power into it, crossfire system that would be cheaper then Veg and faster could hurt sales ...

not really, look at 1080Ti and 1070. A 1070 SLI should be around the same thing as an 1080Ti, and probably cheaper.
SLI/CFX support is lacking lately.

was the only one not to get any speed increase from Nvidia =/ and taking flagship models into account like the Strix, actually is more expensive in some cases!

we already know for sure that rx580 is a lost cause even to a 1070. will vega even be able to match up to the 1080ti? from whats been leaked on the net so far it doesn't seem like it will, and if its vega vs volta then we know how that's going to turn out.

hoping all the info on vega is wrong and it is able to beat the 1080ti, hopefully it will start a price war.

How do we know anything for sure when it's been a few 'leaks' that started on wccftech? Just wait it out for a few more weeks and we will know for sure, for better or worse.

No I dont think so. If you read videocardz other article stated RX 580 will not replaced RX 480 so mean AMD will continue to sell RX 480 at current price and AMD will launch RX 580 at around 1070 price.

You mean this for the 580?

The chip itself will be clocked at 1340 MHz boost to deliver 6.17 TFLOPs of compute performance. There would be 8 GB of GDDR5 memory onboard, clocking in at 8.0 GHz along a 256-bit bus interface. The card would pump out 256 GB/s bandwidth. Expect pricing to get slightly lower than the RX 480, around $199 for the 8 GB model.
