AMD RX 580 and RX 560 leak

haha come on, please lmao. Are they or are they not priced where I'd say they'll be priced?? ;) And I'll let you go back and find the post if you want where I said they'd be closer to £300....and also where I said they'd fall between £275 and £300. I'm not going to get into a @#*! measuring contest tehehehe ;) :p
I will go look later on when I have the time for fun ;)

As I recall my expectation was for it to be priced exactly the same in dollars as 480 was, not looked at any reviews to see, as I have no interest in the card, but I bet I was right.

1.21 gigawatt's :p :D

So AMD has decided to go all out on squeezing performance on P10 and forgetting about power efficiency.

560 is the interesting one though, fully unlocked P11 and at $99, would be a good GPU for budget builds. But not released until May :p...

According to Techpower the RRP is $230 so pretty close although the Nitro+ they reviewed is $280.

Who in their right mind will get a 580 for 319 haha.
Got to be a die hard AMD fan to buy that. Talk about die hard AMD fans, where has Flopper been lately? Lol :p

I remembered his comments. Polaris shining brightly bla bla, then it came out and he disappeared. Maybe he will return when Vega comes out if it lives up to my prediction. If not I fear we will not be seeing him for a long time... Haha.

I'm so frustrated to see that AMD are still a complete fail when it comes to multi monitor support. I saw this:

These revised chips have received further tweaking to reach higher clockspeeds, while also fixing a couple of minor issues with the GPUs. In the case of the latter, AMD is adding a new mid-power memory clock state so that applications that require memory clocks faster than idle – primarily mixed-resolution multi-monitor and video decoding – no longer cause the memory to clock up to its most power-demanding speeds, keeping overall power consumption down.

But this is still rubbish. Nvidia cards can still sit at the minimum core and memory clockspeeds when running mixed resolution monitors. This is important for me as I run a 1440p monitor with a 1080p AVR for audio. My 980TI increases in power usage by 1 single watt when I run both displays, my old AMD card increased by 50 watts (to 70 watts at idle! - at ~70C). I can't believe that AMD have gone through so many new GPUs over the last 6 years since I last bought one and this is still an issue with them. I've got no problem with their performance or pricing, but this is a total deal breaker.

but im here looking at these prices...You could have also said the better 8GB RX580's are close to £300.

What do you define as better? The ones that you pay more for upfront, or ones that are marketed well, or ones that have a brand make you prefer behind it? So no I couldn't have said that, as I consider pre-overclocked cards to be a complete and utter rip-off for people that are too lazy to do it themselves.

Of course? That's what happens when you pump more power through an unchanged process, efficiency goes down?
So much for AMD's marketing blurb saying it is Polaris evolved and they have made some tweaks and improvements. Nope, its just a RX480 overclocked.

it wouldn't be an issue if actual performance has increased, but a 3% gain for 40+ more watts on an already very inefficient GPU.

According to the Anandtech review they still haven't fixed the multi-monitor power usage, jumps up to 100w from 70w.
