AMD RX 6000 Series UK Pricing ?

I disagree and flip it from poor ppl to ppl having jobs with disposable cash. Ppl on benefits cant afford these things and wont use finance as it will get them in debt, no person on benefits will use credit as they cant pay it back or the interest. If they can save up over the year they might treat themselves to something tho.

You are so wrong with that statement.

I was recently attending a Section 35 (intervention for vulnerable child) with my Job.

After finally gaining access to the property with the police and and taking six children into care, I couldn't help but notice there was no wall paper in any room, no carpets, kitchen was a disaster area, two illegal dog breeds that was ceased and destroyed The mother's drug dealer was stuck in the kitchen window BUT there was four PS4s, two Switches, a number of Smart phones, one XBOX Series X, One Xbox One X, 65" OLED in the living complimented by a full SKY package.

I see similar to this weekly, I've noticed in the last ten years things have got much worse compared to 2001 when I first started.

Amen, unfortunately, it's only really those like us that have jobs that involve going into the general public's homes for extended periods of time, and have the chance to go room to room, to REALLY understand how society when in poverty works. It sickens me, that these parents value entertainment for their kids more so than putting decent cooked meals on the table, or decent clothes on their backs, or bother to make sure they go to school and don't sit at home playing video games...

But then these are the same people that have multiple kids, when they did not have the finances or employment to even support themselves let alone a single child....

Oh, don't get me started, cause I can reveal plenty home truths no one wants to hear....

Sorry again.

So there are poor people who waste money and rich people who hoard money. There are also everything in between.
You can't paint all poor people with the same brush or you will end up with a very bitter and twisted view of the world.
This conversation probably belongs on 4chan though.
So... what are the chances that a driver will make the 6000 series trace rays as well as an rtx?

You have made very accurate statements, doesn't matter if the folks on here agrees with you or not. My Mrs is a social worker and can attest to what some people demand social services pay for when they have cash in the bank.

It's not a question of it being accurate or not, it's just a weird thing to be complaining about shortly before the release of some new GPUs.

people in this thread moralising about how poor people handle their finances are people who are unserious about seeing such social issues actually structurally fixed. please leave the complaining about poor people to the daily mail comment section and let's get back to talking about how nobody will be getting a radeon 6000 card for the next half decade

Just spoke to a few retailers on the phone in the uk that i would normally try to source gpu's from and been told they haven't got any stock for todays launch! They spoke directly to the buying team and have been told only a select few uk retailers have been given stock due to very limited availability. I think i can guess which 2 retailers will be getting the stock, OCUK being one of the them and the other being a major competitor.

This is madness, its gonna crash both sites again and you're gonna be stuck on the checkout screen for yonks again.

So just direct from AMD + the two main culprits? That is a very poor release if so!

Sitting this out and see what happens with AIB stock week, personally I cant get over that massive red ring, looks itchy and it would forever irritate me. If the AIB launch is a **** show too I might just pickup a 5700XT if they get discounted and forget about the whole thing, rather have the money in my bank in case the worse happens its far too much money to play Russian Roulette with.

Enjoy and good luck if you're taking a dabble on one

Indeed mate, i was genuinely shocked tbh. I always buy from a lesser company cos theirs less traffic to the store page but to be told the have zero stock and then be told its only going to a few select retailers is even more shocking! I mean unless OCUK has 1000's stocked today i can't see it going well.

Only two UK retailers have any? Mental if true.

The way this past year has gone do you blame him, blimey! Very difficult to be positive about computer tech. Plenty tv's for sale (never been cheaper), mobile phones, other tech, but computers nah! They are taking the **** with these 'arranged shortages' to bump up prices. Have to admire Microsoft and Sony for sticking to rrp on their pricing. To be honest I am sickened by the behaviour of the computer industry, the greed, scalping, bots etc from the huge companies to the retailers who don't seem happy to make do with decent profit and instead rip off their customers. Ironically I suspect there will be a price to pay for them all in the not to distant future and I wouldn't feel sorry for them. I would like to buy a graphics card from Amd today but not before reviews and I am disappointed in the manner they have dealt with this launch. Not as bad as Nvidia but not much better. I will wait for 'proper reviews' before deciding what to do and plan to buy an Xbox sx anyway. Genuinely hope things get better for all.

TV's aren't in demand though people won't queue outside shops on launch day like nvidia cards in the US, Nvidia have done a splendid job of hyping up and above inflation increases prices on their cards they've really learnt their marketing lessons from Apple and AMD have been riding on their coat tails which I can't really blame them for since they tried being the budget/value brand and lets face it it didn't work 80% will still buy nivida regardless of price so they probably think we might as well make some money from what little does sell so consumers only have themselves to blame honestly.

I just spoke to some retailers and they are advising limited but available stock.

See how easy that was.. Why are you trusting the words of a random person on the internet?
