Oh come on, nearly all new releases sell out day one, AMD fans and COD nuts getting their fill. Sales will dry up within a month, similar to the 4080.

Couple of videos popped up today regarding incoming price drops for the 4080. I mean we already saw 1 price drop so expecting to see more to come in the coming weeks. If cards are sitting on the shelf not selling, nvidia won't let it go like that for months as they have shareholders to satisfy.

Once all the fanboys got their new amd gpu and all that’s left is regular clients they’ll be gathering dust alongside the 4080s as well

Doubtful, to sell huge volume so fast is proof demand on XTX is huge, if our website had crashed we'd have no doubt over-sold by thousands. Even the AIB £1299 cards were flying, AMD has a lot of love this time round.

no shipping email yet , i did get my first order cancelled which i placed at 13:52 , im rather concerned the order i placed for the Red Devil was in the middle of all the website issues and as a result im on a back order as i lost the stock. Ill be gutted as i have no GPU at all at the moment after selling my 6950

I use DPD at work and they're fine you should find as OCUK always use them their service is ok as businesses we use a different DPD system to what the public will use. While they are not accepting more parcels in general as an existing business we have found in general parcels are delivering as normal.

And we can send out hundreds a day on some days

Yeah I’ve never had an issue with DPD but was aware of the page I linked to and I did just receive a text from them telling me of a delay to a parcel from somewhere else.

That's not good dude. Hopefully not and all is good.

Everyone had the same issue. Some people ordered @ 1400hrs on the dot and checkout wasn't completed at least by 10min later in some cases due to the connection timeout to the gateway.

Its a very sad day for the graphics community that people are willing to pay £1000 for mid range cards.

Yep, I totally agree. The 7900XT is a 6800 replacement, 7900XTX replaces 6800XT and a 6900XT/6950XT replacement is still to come. The market might look quite different by Q2 23.

Gibbo as you can tell I really want to AMD to do well, however, as soon as the 3rd party reference cards dry up and AMD don't directly sell to the UK, can OcUK put something in place to supply the UK market with reference models plsssss?

I mistakenly ordered a powercolor and not a saphire,
im not concerned about the card im sure theyre both fine enough.....
erm, shipping shouldnt be affected too much right ....
