I think considering it’s an XT it’s probably a 2x8 but there are some 3x8 boards so not sure.

We shipped close to 500 XTX yesterday using DPD next day, so a lot of people will be getting them today if DPD do their job well.

Shocked at the margins being made on these rx 7900 xtx none at what manufacturer said at launch! Totally different from the RTX 4090 launch so I've missed out, as I'm not prepared to pay over recommended retail price

The semi-conductor world is feast vs. famine. We are in this in-between stage before the arse falls out of the market. Give it 6 months and the 7900 XT reference will be a decent price.

That's a fair position. Sole reason I bit is I sold off my 3090 back in Sept in anticipation for Lovelace/RDNA3 and am without a real solution (running a backup 1070 currently), and I have some downtime this holiday season from work which rarely happens, AND I still had money in the pot from selling another card last year at market peak. My time spent rationalizing the decision is probably way more valuable than the extra £200-300 I was expecting to spent, but hey-ho.
