@Gibbo my order is still showing as "Ordered" (ST5189847) any update on my order queue or anything? Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. Will that mean I will be getting it with the next batch or the upgrade? CheersYou are position 90 in the queue.

Thanks, a superlative customer support like you exemplify is what keeps people like me coming back. Have a good Christmas, and to everyone else - punching out.Your most likely in line for the upgrade.
5 more XTX MBA arrived today and shipped, we are expecting another 20.
After which we expect no more MBA, so the remaining will be upgraded to either other XTX MBA cards or Pulse XTX cards and expect delivery mid/end January.
@Gibbo I assume I am on for the reference, case will fit the larger card ST5189328 (just checking to see if anyone has cancelled)?
Guys anyone know what the difference between the Sapphire Pulse and Nitro+ for the XT version?
This may or may not help you.
Due to the complexity of Navi31 all PCBs I have seen use same 14 layer PCB, which is very high layer count for consumer market.
All XTX MBA/AIB use same VRM controller, same mosfets. All have same total phase count, but some may take a single GPU phase out and make an extra VRAM.
Inductors (ie coil whine component) MBA and AIB look same physically/size/capacity, but some of the AIB are using LR15 stamped vs R15 on MBA, not yet found out difference. Only ASUS are using custom inductor. They usually use concrete filled, to aid coil whine not occuring, but have had an ASUS do that on past GPU.
XT MBA didn't differ much from XTX MBA, so unlikely any weak XT AIB cards. As XT too is complex GPU and reasonably high power draw.
In the past Pulse used Nitro PCB minus RGB. In past Pulse may have had a phase less, but as said before, all are so far same total count. The mosfet is not weak on any, more than ample for Navi31.
If your considering water blocking card go Pulse and use the money saved for block.
So just buy what you like based on clocks, cooler, etc.
Hi All.
Generally don't post on forums but had to write to say Thanks Gibbo and OCUK staff.
Ordered a Sapphire 7900xtx MBA on first day and order was confirmed. But no delivery next day as expected. Looked at the forums (this thread) and saw the explanation which clarified everything. It seems that you guys have done a fantastic job sourcing the oversold cards despite a computer ordering glitch and I received my card 2 days ago. It would have been easy to send an email to say "tough luck mate and cancel the order" but I can still see you are still trying to sort out the unfortunate ones who still haven't received their cards (with a possible free upgrade!). That is good after sale service.
Thanks Guys!
Nitro has the highest power limit so should give the best overall performance. However, I don't think even 483W is going to be enough. My RX 7900 XT MBA has been black screening and powering down on drivers v22.12.1 and v22.12.2. I have long list of things it will not run at stock and some things it will.
Besides both drivers I tried each driver in W10 Pro and W11 Pro, fully updated. HW in use was known good.
Only way I could resolve issue was downloading card. Voltage control not working in either driver/OS for me. Then I also noted my GPU default clock raises on v22.12.2 driver vs v22.12.1, tested at whole system stock.
OCUK have organised collection for GPU today, super cool service!
Getting card refunded and they took a pre-order on Sapphire RX 7900 XTX Pulse!
Now looking forward to new year!
@Gibbo
Please extend my thanks to all staff, merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all!
Interestingly I've had a few black screens. I've set everything to stock but a few times it's gone completely black and unresponsive requiring a full power cycle. My RX 7900 XT MBA has been black screening and powering down on drivers v22.12.1 and v22.12.2. Is this likely a problem with the card itself?
No problems.Nitro has the highest power limit so should give the best overall performance. However, I don't think even 483W is going to be enough.
VRM has also been different on Nitro as well. Need to see a tear down of them to know the differences. No problems.
I'm more of a performance watt user than OC for daily use, so usually undervolt on stock GPU clocks with OC VRAM. On my RX 6800 XT I undervolted SOC/VRAM and still had OC VRAM of 2124MHz.
So I think Pulse is gonna be sweet. Money saved from not going other pricier AIB I'll use towards water block. Then will always have max clocks as temps, etc be sweet.
Will get dual bios, 3x8pin, so far all PCB I seen use same layers/VRM controller/VRM components. And as in past the Pulse PCB is usually Nitro, missing RGB, there maybe possiblilty to flash to Nitro once tools available.
Usually on Pulse, 1 VBIOS is stock and other they give mild bump on GPU clocks and Power Limit, so adding the +15% should suffice for me .
Just a note that it's not concrete. It's a special creamic with high magnetic permeability. These are called magnetically shielded inductors. Doesn't stop "coil whine".Inductors (ie coil whine component) MBA and AIB look same physically/size/capacity, but some of the AIB are using LR15 stamped vs R15 on MBA, not yet found out difference.
